The five things I screen for
Ability to follow instructions
A meticulous VA who follows instructions carefully means less time repeating yourself and checking their work — you want someone you can trust, knowing the job is being handled. This is the #1 thing I screen for.
Reliability
Do they show up on time and do the work — without a lot of sick days or schedule changes? I work with every VA for four weeks before placement, which is plenty of time to see exactly how someone operates.
Communication skills
Most VAs work in English as a second language — so we test both written and spoken English. You need a VA you can give instructions to and know they've understood. The best VAs also take ownership — they ask questions when unsure rather than waiting for you to catch a mistake.
Intelligence

We screen, interview, and train VAs, them make them available for placement. We start by discussing your needs - how many hours/week of help you need, what tasks you need your VA to do, and what software you need them to know. We then match you with a VA. Once you pay the placement fee, you will be given your new VA’s contact information so you can finalize details with them and have them start work.

Our 2 week training program covers: Amazon terminology, Google Sheets skills, sourcing, Keepa, SellerAmp, reimbursements, Sellerboard, ungating, account health and more. After this, VAs are given a 2+ week internship.

The placement fee is a one-time fee of $600 USD. Your VA’s salary is separate; all payment arrangements are to be made directly between you and your VA.

That's between you and your VA — we recommend a minimum of $2.50 USD/hour (experienced VAs will often want at least $4-$5 USD/hour), paid weekly via Wise. For sourcing, you have the option of giving them performance-based bonuses to incentivize them.

The Philippines is 12-13 hours ahead of Eastern time. This means your evening hours will coincide with their afternoons. Many sellers use this time slot for working with their VAs.

Yes, we provide onboarding support for the first 30 days. This includes: guidance on how to best onboard your new employee , demos of any of the software mentioned in our onboarding guide and response to questions within 1 business day.

We recommend using time-tracking software such as Insightful. This keeps a record of when your VA is working and also takes screenshots periodically so you can review their work if necessary.

The placement fee is non-refundable once your VA start work. However, we offer a 90-day guarantee. If your VA is not meeting expectations after you have provided sufficient onboarding, feedback, and opportunities for improvement, we will provide additional training in the listed curriculum and/or a replacement VA at no additional cost (within the first 90 days).
