Step 3

Check your column configuration

We highly recommend you configure your Keepa Product Finder and Product Viewer columns as shown below. The column order doesn't matter, but if any columns are missing, the spreadsheet may not function as designed — for example, Max Cost can't be calculated if the Buy Box 90 days avg, FBA Fee or Referral Fee % are missing.

Step 6

Profit / ROI

These values are used to calculate the Max Cost column. Optional calculation settings are available below.

Cross-border sourcing
Exchange rate: This tool uses a fixed rate of 1 USD = 1.40 CAD. Your Max Cost in the finished sheet will be shown in the currency of the country where you are buying.

Step 7

Which brands do you want excluded?

Type a brand and press Enter. Matching ignores capitalization and extra spaces.

Step 8

Remove rows where the Buy Box seller is the same as the brand

The filter compares the Brand and Buy Box Seller names and removes likely matches.

Step 9

Remove sellers you do not want to compete with

Add seller IDs separately for Canada and the US. Rows removed are based on current BuyBox owner so you still may get some listings with the selected sellers.

Step 10

Remove low sales velocity listings

Step 11

Apply sales rank cutoffs

Listings without sales ranks or categories are kept.

Step 12

Choose how your sheet is sorted

View optional sorting settings

When sorting by Bought in past month, rows where that metric is unavailable are sorted by 90-day sales-rank drops in the same direction. Rows missing both values are placed at the bottom.
